Con l’avanzare degli anni ci si chiede cosa mai potremmo lasciare ai posteri su questa vita terrena, “lasciare” inteso come segno tangibile di un proprio passaggio vitale.
Il brano inizia con l’immagine di una clessidra, e delle orme sulla sabbia, esaltando il tempo, lo spazio e l’universo come un continuo evolversi ed infinito movimento.
Nella parte intermedia del brano c’è un cambiamento di sonorità e il passaggio a scene astratte.
Il soggetto si interroga con uno spirito positivo e battagliero spiegando che nessuna pioggia potrà mai cancellare ciò che di buono viene trasmesso, nessun sole potrà distruggere la propria ombra, intrinsecamente si persegue questo obiettivo di segnare il passato per lasciarlo al futuro, si risalta l’immagine del soggetto che guarda soddisfatto e speranzoso le proprie scarpe stanche.
