And now i see a ray, Libreville is on our way
Get it through like we always wondered in those hopeless days
In search of our defence
we’re the fading lights, trudge in the haze
we’re the bitter bite that falls with no remorse
and time always wears a ruthless gaze
it’s a guillotine to our aims and our hopes
is this a truth? Is life withering my youth?
and i contemplate my fate what a sad book to rate
it breaks me through what a fool i was to believe that i could fake
a destiny that someone made
