Biografia Roundella
Roundella is a musical world composed of Francesca Corrias (vocals, flute and effects), Mauro Laconi (guitar and effects), Filippo Mundula (double bass) and Gianrico Manca (drums). These four experienced musicians, appreciated in the Italian Jazz scene, have put their own influences and aesthetics in a new project based on their original compositions. Roundella is a deep exploration on rhythms, melodies and harmonic textures, diving in the great sea of black music, from bebop to hip-hop. As suggested by one of their tracks, ‘Loose Heritage’, Roundella’s music combines Dilla beats, rap poetry, improvisation and soul-oriented melodies. Roundella are about to release their first album, out in October 2014 for S'Ard Music Records.
