Rise e' il titolo del nuovo album per The Backlash, in uscita il 24 Febbraio 2023 come co-produzione fra la Dirty Beach, giovane label di Benevento proiettata sul panorama internazionale, e la Shore Dive di Brighton (UK), label shoegaze conosciuta per le edizioni ultra limitate per collezionisti.
Le 9 tracce di Rise raggruppano i brani già editi in autoproduzione a inizio 2020 nell'EP Passing By, più 5 nuove tracce. Il sound è stato amalgamato e potenziato in mesi di mixaggi, e grazie al lavoro di mastering curato a Londra da James Aparicio (produttore per The Cult of Dom Keller, Throw Down Bones, Rev Rev Rev, Clustersun).
