La band si forma nel Luglio del 2015 e trae spunto da diversi colossi del genere come The Sonics, The Morlocks,
The Fuzztones, The Cynics e tutte le Nuggets band, fino ai più recenti Jay Reatard, Thee Oh Sees, Billy Childish, Radio Birdman, Hoodoo Gurus e The Saints.
Nel novembre dello stesso anno entrano a far parte della grande famiglia Area Pirata con la quale pubblicano
il loro primo singolo in versione digitale, "Lickin' Ears", riscuotendo subito le prime attenzioni da parte degli addetti ai lavori, con passaggi radio anche internazionali. Il team si chiude nel Bunker Studio e con la complicità degli alieni mette su in brevissimo tempo 11 tracce che trasudano punkrock australiano e garage filo americano contaminato di psichedelia. L’album si chiama Kidnappings e vedrà la luce il 4 luglio, come già previsto in un famoso film. Undici tracce registrate presso Kaspar House (da Ferdinando Farro, musicista e fonico esperto di tali sonorità) in uscita per l’etichetta Area Pirata con partner la neo label Chono Records. La copertina è stata disegnata e curata dal fumettista Luca Maresca (Sergio Bonelli Editore, The Valium), mentre il layout grafico, le foto e il supporto alla scrittura dei testi è di Girolamo Viola. Nel mentre i STS tengono viva l'attività live avendo già supportato band internazionali del calibro dei The Youth e partecipato a festival di genere come il Provokate Punkrock Festival.

The Superslots Terrible Smashers are a garage punk band from Salerno, formed in July 2015 by the meeting of guitarist Nico Plescia (The Nitroglycerine , Dead Flints) with Bruno Ruggiero (vocals) and Roberto Mirabella (bass) , later joined by Gabriele Concas (drums) .
The band is inspired by several giants of the genre (The Sonics , The Morlocks , The Fuzztones , The Cynics) by all the Nuggets bands and the latest Jay Reatard , Thee Oh Sees, Billy Childish & Mick Collins.
Their first hit single " Lickin ' Ears " was digitally released by Area Pirata in November 2015 and is available at http://areapiratarec.bandcamp.com/album/lickin-ears . The band has currently finished recording their first album with Kaspar House (Ferdinando Farro ) which will be released on July 4th for Area Pirata Records in partnership with the newly formed label Chono Records and the contribution of comic artist Luca Maresca (Bonelli Editore) for the cover art. In the meantime the band keeps up to the live activity by having already supported international bands such as The Youth and playing punk gatherings like Provokate Punkrock Festival .
