Based on unpublished short story of 1983 "2020, the year of the robot", the first chapter of an adventure that will end with the born of god.
Ten years after Riviera, the electro band from Milano release ther 3th LP "2020, the day off"
It tells of the birth of new gods, of the struggle between them and how one of these, Caper (who would be him), in the end turns out to be the only one left, the new God. He talks about his loneliness, the distance between him and his creatures, the impossibility of communicating with them and his lack of interest in their affairs. The first chapter, which acted as a prologue, the author had set when presumably he had written the book, that is, in 1983, and tells of how in that year it was possible to transfer human consciences inside supercomputers, and how they were then sent into space, on small modules. There had been twelve transfers, and each one was given the name of a zodiac sign, plus another three with unspecified technical functions. Everyone was also given a kind of robot-avatar, which would act as an external interface and whose job was to provide maintenance for the module and supercomputer. Then humanity for some reason suddenly disappeared, and the modules remained around the space, with these transferred, thinking consciences on board, and their robot-alter ego. The prologue was set in 2020, when these "transfers" were able to contact each other and had organized a physical meeting between them, a kind of party, in which they would meet again through their robot-avatars
