Born and raised mainly in northern Italy, Arsis v begins his audio and musical route with the study of modern bass guitar, music theory and sound engineering. At the age of twenty he starts working as sound engineer and acoustic consultant before devoting himself to physics studies.
He played in several rock and psychedelic post rock bands such as One Giant Trip.
His songs mainly instrumental, orbit around electronic music wandering among genres such as Ambient, Folktronica, Experimental, Drone, Synth and Psychedelic.
Bass guitar and acoustic ethnic instruments are of abiding presence in he’s musical works, focused on conveying deep intimacy through the large use of binaural ambient sounds he records along his trips with the aim of creating immersive atmospheres using soundscapes hailing from different rural and urban environments of different cultures.
