Grazie a Rockit, che ha invitato NNM.cl a far parte della sua "Legione Straniera", con lo scopo di avere opinioni su interessanti progeti indie italiani da parte di blogs internazionali. È così che gli Atari col loro "Sexy Games For Happy Families" mi sono arrivati. Questa band italiana era un'interessante occasione per sentire un gruppo indie italiano. Ma ovviamente se non si fosse saputo prima che questa band è italiana, si sarebbe facilmente potuto scambiarla per un'altra band britannica, dato che canta in inglese e suona come un mix tra To My Boy, Beck, un po' di Franz Ferdinand e del fresco sound dei The Teenagers. Insomma un perfetto mix tra chitarre, computer, ritmo e hype. "Sexy Games For Happy Families" suona come un buon invito a ballare, con canzoni come "8bit Love", che è una canzone grande e completa, qualche momento rilassante con il teenage sound di "I can't Stop Biting My Nails", seguito da una danzereccia "Museum Supermarket". Thanks to Rockit.it, a indie Italian webzine and magazine that invite NNM.cl to make part of their "Legione Straniera", that means Foreign Legion. This with the purpose to make international blogs around the world to leave their opinion about interesting Italian indie projects. That's how Atari with their "Sexy Games For Happy Families" arrive to me. This Italian band was a very interesting experience to hear an Italian Indie Band. Of course if you don't know before that this band is Italian you can easily think that their another British indie band, because they sing in English and they sound like a mix between "To My Boy", "Beck", a little of "Franz Ferdinand" and the fresh sound of "The Teenagers". In summery a perfect mix between guitars, computer sounds, rhythm and Hype. Sexy Games For Happy Families sounds like a good way to enjoy a gig, with songs like "8bit Love" that is a great complete song, some more chilling moments with the teenage sound o f "I can't Stop Biting My Nails", follow by a dancy "Museum Supermarket". Any way you look it a nice album to hang around...
