3 bufere dalle sonorità post-grunge e stoner con sfumature alternative e rock'n'roll: è questo l'uragano BLUESTONES.
Ingredienti principali: voce al dolore, chitarre al delirio, basso cavia di esperimenti su pedali e batteria al sangue. Altre caratteristiche patologiche: "maledizione del bassista".

On the road dal 2004 a Reggio Calabria e dintorni, il nome della band deriva dalle "Pietre Azzurre" (Bluestones), posizionate
alll'interno del complesso di Stonehenge (Inghilterra) che affascinano per il loro mistero mistico e per i "poteri" che si presuppone abbiano.
I Bluestones pubblicano il primo EP autoprodotto "Tears World" nel 2007.
La band, in questi dieci anni trascorsi, è stata molto attiva, divenendo subito ben conosciuta a livello locale. Le esibizioni live sono state innumerevoli in Calabria e Sicilia, anche accompagnati da molti gruppi locali, italiani e internazionali.
Nel 2008 la band ha vinto le selezioni regionali dell'Italia Wave.
Nel periodo 2009-2011 le attività sono state leggermente rallentate da repentini cambi di line-up, che si stabilizza solo ad inizio 2011 nella formazione odierna.
Nel 2012 viene girato il primo videoclip del gruppo "Sick Room" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8P4sG_93xg).
Nel Settembre 2013 esce il primo album autoprodotto "Born in a Different Cloud". Un lavoro apocalittico, desertico, delirante e
potente. Concettualmente il disco descrive 12 modi diversi di vivere una apocalisse interiore ed esteriore, accompagnando
l'ascoltatore all'interno di sè e del lavoro stesso tramite una radio inventata, "Radio Delirio". Questa radio autopresenta i pezzi ed ha
lo scopo di far crescere progressivamente il caos e la visione ipotetica di questo mondo prima e dopo ogni piccola o grande
rivoluzione. In ogni caso rimane sempre una costante: il deserto, specchio dell'aridità dell'animo umano e rappresentazione di come
l'uomo affronti i problemi di ogni tipo che lo circondano. Questo in netta contrapposizione con quello che è una nuvola: leggera,
libera, ma pronta a scatenare una tempesta, anche usando una radio come mezzo di comunicazione. Si può pensare alla nuvola
come una metafora della nostra psiche, con all’interno tutte le nostre ispirazioni e esperienze. Ogni nuvola è un ente a sé stante,
ognuno di noi porta dentro di sé un’apocalisse personale, priva di ripetitività e componente fondamentale adatta a plasmare il mondo che viviamo attraverso i nostri sogni; dal punto di vista musicale spesso questo sfocia nel creare diversi riff che si evolvono lungo strade parallele, singolari e soggettive come ogni essere umano che ascolterà il disco.
"Born in a Different Cloud" parla di 12 nuvole differenti dal deserto che tentano di irrigare a suon di onde radio.
Attualmente la band continua a lavorare su nuovi pezzi ed è in giro per continuare a promuovere "Born in a Different Cloud".

Three storms with post-grunge and stoner sonorities, with alternative and rock'n'roll shades: this is the BLUESTONES hurricane.
Main ingredients: painful voice, hallucinated guitars, experimental bass and bloody drums. Other pathological features: "the bass player curse".
Born on 2004 in Reggio Calabria (Italy), The band's name come from the Blue Stones placed inside the Stonehenge compound,
which are fascinating for the mystic powers they are supposed to have.
The BLUESTONES publish their first self-produced EP "Tears World" in 2007.
The band won in 2008 the regional selections for Italia Wave contest.
The band has been in strong activity during these almost 10 years, becoming locally well-known. It performed a large number of
shows in Calabria, Sicilia and its neighbourhood, also together with a large number of national and international bands.
From 2009 to 2011 the band activities have been slightly delayed because of sudden line up changes, but it stabilized on early 2011
with the current formation.
Their first videoclip and single from the forthcoming album is "Sick Room" and it has been directed and filmed on 2012 (http://

Our first self-produced record "Born in a different Cloud" has been published in September 2013. It is an apocalyptic, desolated,
frantic and powerful work. Conceptually it describes 12 different ways to live an internal and/or external apocalypse, going along with the listener through himself, by using an imaginary radio broadcast "Delirio Radio". This radio presents the songs inside the record and wants to increase progressively the chaos and the hypothetic vision of the world before and after any big or little revolution.
Anyway, there is always a constant: the desert, true mirror of human aridity and representation of how the human being faces
difficulties of every kind in its life. This is opposed to the meaning of the cloud: freedom, lightness, and potential storm (even using a radio show).
A cloud is a metaphor for our psyche: it has on its inside all our inspirations and experiences. Every cloud is an independent entity
that carries a personal apocalypse, unique and fundamental component able to model the world in which we live, through the
dreams. For a musical point of view this causes different riffs that evolve along parallel roads, singular and subjective like every
listener.
"Born in a Different Cloud" is the story of 12 clouds different from the desert they try to nourish with radio waves.
Nowadays the band keeps working on new songs and is in tour in order to advertise "Born in a Different Cloud".
Our second single from "Born in a Different Cloud" is Medusa/Slut and it is planned to be published within the end of 2013, together
with its videoclip.
