He began playing the guitar at the age of 12. After two years of self-study, he attended a G. Govoni (an Italian jazz guitar player) guitar course.
In 2006 he started the car3939 youtube channel primarly focused about rock classic guitar covers.
In 2012 he founded the rock cover band JCBand as lead guitarist.
In 2017 he started to release instrumental rock guitar compositions. His debut album is “Rock Places“, released in September 2017. All tunes recorded at home with Kramer 84 Reissue Guitar, Ibanez Soundgear Bass, Focusrite Scarlett Solo, Reaper DAW, Amplitube Custom Shop and MT Power Drum Kit. All instruments played by car3939. All mixing and mastering performed by car3939.
In May 2018 he released the album “Walking“. All tunes recorded at home with Kramer 84 Reissue Guitar, Ibanez Soundgear Bass, Focusrite Scarlett Solo, Reaper DAW, Amplitube Custom Shop and MT Power Drum Kit. Only the tune “Fluido” were recorded with Fendere Stratocaster American Vintage ’62. All instruments played by car3939. Furthermore in the tune “Fluido” the keyboards were played by Bruno Mazzacurati (JCBand keyboard player). All mixing and mastering performed by car3939.
In the meanwhile, in the same month May 2018, the car3939 Live Project had been put in practice. The band was composed by JC (guitar and voice), Moses (bass) and Vale (drums).
In May 2019 he released the album “Out Of Things“. All tunes recorded at the car3939's recording studio in Bologna Italy, in the year 2019. Recorded with Fendere Stratocaster American Vintage ’62, Ibanez Soundgear Bass, Focusrite Scarlett Solo, Shure SM58, Reaper DAW, Amplitube Custom Shop and MT Power Drum Kit. All instruments played by car3939. Besides Bruno Mazzacurati played the keyboards in Fifty and Blue October.
