Groundhog Day è il brano più veloce e breve di Editing a Dream, il primo disco degli Edless. Tutto ruota intorno a un giro di basso e batteria incalzante, influenzato dal post-punk, un genere molto importante nel percorso formativo della band. Le chitarre fanno le veci dei sintetizzatori, creando droni noise in un costante feedback distorto che ricorda il continuo ripresentarsi delle giornate, sempre uguali tra loro, in un eterno ritorno del “Giorno della Marmotta”.
