Il progetto musicale nasce nel 2011 quando Francesco Trento, artista emergente di Bassano del Grappa, incontra per la prima volta Jean Charles Carbone, noto produttore di Vicenza. Dalle i
dee congiunte dei due nasce il progetto, che viene concretizzato nell’estate 2012 con la realizzazione del doppio album FrAzioni di Viaggio. Questo album rappresenta la realizzazione di un sogno per Francesco che decide di esternare emozioni e sentimenti tramite la musica, e svariate sonorità, anche in un progetto live che coinvolge più strumentisti sul palco, dando vita ad uno spettacolo vero e proprio.

Produced and arranged by Jean-Charles Carbone (also co-responsible of the upcoming Universal Daughters album, a project involving artists like Jarvis Cocker, Gavin Friday and Alan Vega among many others), FrAzioni di viaggio is the first release from Italian pianist Francesco Trento.
Recorded at Abnegat Records in Vicenza and (while featuring a wide array of different instruments, including lap steel guitars, Hammond organ and unobtrusive percussion) carefully built around Trento's skilled piano technique, the double album comes out as an intense recognition in sound and passion. Over the sonic textures beautifully orchestrated by Carbone, Trento lays out his themes full of pathos, nostalgia and secret joy, brimming with kinetic energy and never indulging in hyper-emotionalism - aided in this by subtle, almost subliminal arrangement touches. That's why the whispered watercolour ambience of tracks like Bagliori can go hand in hand with the exuberant Nuvole, the percussive Osservato or the reined-in rapture of final piece Notturno con alba.
Neither just ambient nor simply "feel-good" New Age stuff, FrAzioni di Viaggio is an assured and deceptively simple album, the sound of a young artist finding his voice.
