From Cagliari, south coast of Sardinia, Italy, the Hangee V started out in 2003 as a five piece band (hence their name) with the stated purpose to playin their favourite music, sixties garage punk and obscure instrumental surf. In these years they had a lot of gigs around Italy and in some state of Europe, in clubs and festivals like Festival Beat and Go Sinner Go. After several changes in the lineup nowadays they are 4: Piergiorgio, voice and guitar, Marcello bass and organ, Alessandra on drums, and Carlo guitar. They put up a lp for the label For Monsters Records, joined to compilations like Lost in Tyme, Misty Lane and Kreepsville's and now they are finishing the recordings for their 2nd lp that should come out in 2009
