Italian punks HEARTS APARTS finally drops their debut EP, "Number One To No One" on JUne 18th.
HEARTS APART formed on last year. The idea came from a trio of friends, when attending a festival on the shores of Garda Lake, in Italy. Their intent was to create a band that could channel all the teenage distress of being close to forty, through punk rock and rock and roll.
Immediately after the first lockdown, HEARTS APART went to the studio with producer and engineer Brown Barcella (Bee Bee Sea) to record these first EP. These tracks have been mastered by Maurizio Baggio (The Soft Moon, Boy Harsher). While HEARTS APART is a very young project, its members are very well known veterans from the italian punk scene, coming from bands such as Miss Chain & The Broken Heels, Universal Sex Arena, Il Buio and Phill Reynolds.
HEARTS APART received massive support from the likes of KEXP, Studio Brussel, Amazing Radio, WFMU, Penguin Radio, Radio3 and many more.
"Number One To No One" has been recorded and mixed by Brown Barcella (Bee Bee Sea, The Peawees) at TUP Studio in Brescia and mastered by Maurizio Baggio (Soft Moon, Boy Harsher) at La Distilleria Produzioni in Bassano del Grappa.
The EP is a straight forward garage punk gem, with a sonic palette that nuances from the power-pop of "Lonely Days" to the fourious garage punk of "It's All The Same" and "It's Too Late".
With The Marked Men and Radioactivity as ideal mentor, the italian debuts with a 5 sogn EP packed with anthemic choruses and epic guitar solos. When you'll listen to these songs you really want to be back in a filthy basement show, singing-a-long with everyone in the room.
