Al centro della narrazione vi è un uomo che si troverà a lottare contro il proprio destino prestabilito. Quest ultimo è personificato da una Dea che prende ispirazione dalle leggende Greche delle Moire e dalla mitologia asiatica dei fili del destino.

Nonostante l’uomo abbia l’esigenza di essere il detentore della propria sorte, non potrà sfuggire a ciò che è già stato prestabilito, ponendoci di fronte ad un quesito ancestrale: siamo realmente artefici del nostro destino?
