Un progetto esteso nel tempo, dal post-punk dei primi anni '80 al post-tutto odierno. Voci, Chitarra, Basso e Drumbeats. Dalle ceneri di Jeunesse d'Ivoire e Other Side, due band che hanno vissuto e suonato la moderna colonna sonora di quel periodo cruciale. Ora, con una formazione rinnovata, scorre nuova vita. Un nuovo inizio. Milano, la nostra città, è morta nel frattempo. I nostri amici si sono persi o semplicemente andati alla deriva. Non tutti sono Ian Curtis, dopotutto. Abitare in quel sottile spazio privo di umanità che sta tra la pagina di un libro e una grigia zona di periferia. O pensare allo scatto di una polaroid in cui le cose non potranno mai volare, ma nemmeno schiantarsi davvero al suolo. Lì, i nostri pezzi sono ancora sospesi.
A project stretched in time, from the post-punk of the early eighties to the post-everything of today. Voices, Guitar, Bass and Drumbeats. From the ashes of Jeunesse d'Ivoire and Other Side, two bands who lived and played the modern soundtrack of that crucial period. Now, with a renewed line-up, new life is flowing. A new start. Our city, Milan, has died in the meantime. Our friends got lost or just drifted away. Not everybody's Ian Curtis, you know. But think about dwelling in that inhumanly thin space between a book's page and a grey suburban area. Or think about a polaroid shot in which things may never fly, but never will crash to the ground. There, our songs are still hanging.
