Temporaneamente in pausa, la band vive attraverso Stefano (Zombiero Martìn), che continua a comporre e registrare indipendentemente e continuerà ad esibirsi live (chitarra 12 corde, voce) ad ogni possibilità che gli si presenta.
Jolly Jolly Doowhacker formed in Fano in 2009 from a collaboration between former members of local groups belonging to different musical genres. The group is made up of Stefano Gasparini - vocals and guitar, Cristian Gasparini - bass and double voices, Lorenzo Guescini - mandolin, keyboards and double voices, Massimiliano Camillucci - drums, and Federico Lepore - ukulele, harmonica, cello and keyboards. During Stefano's stay in Australia the group sees the collaboration of Andrew Russo - bass and double voices, and Guy Kelleher - guitar, percussion, glockenspiel and double voices, and the band performs in various venues in Melbourne and Brisbane. Jolly Jolly Doowhacker's music is characterized by a singer-songwriter spirit and post-grunge, Brit-pop, folk and psychedelic influences. In 2010 Jolly Jolly Doowhacker released their first self-titled album, positively reviewed by various industry magazines and webzines such as Sentire Listen, Solar Ipse, Muco Stampa, and Acidi Viola, which also selected a song by the group for a music compilation entitled "Summer is ending".
Temporarily on hiatus, the band lives through Stefano (Zombiero Martìn), who continues to compose and record independently and will continue to perform live (12-string guitar, vocals) at every opportunity that presents itself.
