Biografia Joujoux d'antan

Joujoux d'antan was founded in 2003 by Marco Tonincelli (vocals, guitar) and Alfredo Cadenelli (bass). Cristian Ruggeri (guitar) from band Fiori d'Oppio soon joined afterwards.
They start playing in local venues and in 2005 they record their first demo, titled Nel Mio Armadio EP.
The band undergoes many formation swaps and experiments until drums (Giovanni Aimo and Gioele Serena), trumpet (Paolo Dusi) and trombone (Pietro Leali) are added to the mix.
In 2007, still without a distributed record or label, they receive an invitation by Sean Ono Lennon to be the supporting act for his Friendly Fire World Tour. The band, with Stefano Giacomini on drums and Vasco Fondra on bass, joins Sean throughoutall the European branch of dates, playing in important venues such as Columbiahalle in Berlin, La Cigale Theathre in Paris and Bush Hall in London. They release the EP Live à Le Grand Mix as a keepsake of that experience.
After the tour, they start working to their first studio LP titled 'Mi Voglio Bene Come Un Figlio', with Marco Tagliola (Scisma).
The album contains collaborations with Italian and International artists such as the same Sean Lennon, Yuka Honda (Cibo Matto), Dougie Bowne (Lounge Lizards), Sara Mazo and Giorgia Poli (Scisma), Nicola Manzan (Bologna Violenta), Asso Stefana and Zeno De Rossi (Guano Padano).
With their songs Nel Mio Armadio and Plenilunio they festure in the soundtrack of the movie Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Undead by US director Jordan Galland.
