The song “Find Me” represents a new chapter in the story of “Lafanki” and the band chose it as the first release after a long hiatus.
The song showcases the musical connection that each member of the band has with one another. The instrumental was created after the first Covid-19 Lockdown, and by the sound of it, it seems like they missed not being able to play together.
Giacomo (Singer), was living in Cornwall (UK) at the time, and as he couldn't go back to Italy, he had the boys send over the instrumental.
One listen was enough to give him the inspiration needed to put down some lyrics; which paints a picture of the emotions and the situation he was living in at the time.
The fact that he was going through a breakup in a complicated time, and that there was nowhere to go, stimulated him to find an escape route through the writing process.
Once the group reunited, everyone contributed to make the finishing touches; resulting in this fantastic new single.
