GET BY Get By significa "andare avanti,oltre”. La malinconia di fondo che accompagna tutta la canzone, lascia trasparire un contrasto tra la voglia di lasciare alle spalle una storia già vissuta e l’impossibilità di farlo, una lotta interiore ed una tensione che ritornano durante tutto il brano, tra ritmiche incalzanti e atmosfere nostalgiche.

HIDDEN Hidden è il pezzo con il quale i Landlord hanno avuto origine. Qui in particolar modo la musica è partecipe del testo nel rendere decifrabile un messaggio che si tiene nascosto: la paura di aver perso il proprio tempo, la voglia di liberazione, l’attesa di un cambiamento, il bisogno di fermarsi ed aver qualcuno vicino.

VENICE Venice, che nel titolo s’ispira a “Le città invisibili” di I.Calvino per la provenienza del suo protagonista, è un viaggio che non può fermarsi. Quello della scoperta di sé stessi attraverso la ricerca del proprio passato così da ritrovare il proprio futuro. Perché “l’altrove è uno specchio in negativo. Il viaggiatore riconosce il poco che è suo, scoprendo il molto che non ha avuto e che non avrà.”

(STILL) CHANGING Dolce, imponente, leggero, impetuoso. (Still) Changing è proprio tutto questo: un groviglio tormentato di situazioni ed emozioni contrastanti, apparentemente agli antipodi, che si prefiggono però l'obiettivo di chiarire l'azione tanto comune quanto emblematica racchiusa nel titolo. Come è possibile cambiare restando fermi?

IS THAT WORTH IT? Uno dei pezzi più ipnotici dell'EP. Forse succede proprio perché le parole scaturiscono da un sogno, forse per la cadenza ritmica che si ripete incessante, o forse per i cori che creano un'atmosfera di precarietà. Questa infatti diventa esplicita nel ritornello attraverso il richiamo angoscioso e involontario della domanda: ne vale la pena?
