Un brano oscuramente romantico, una canzone sulla separazione e sulla virtualità, che oscilla tra paesaggi sonori sognanti e surreali e cavalcate ritmiche grintose. Il brano più simile a una ballata nel repertorio della band. Come ha spiegato il gruppo, «il testo parla segretamente di almeno 3 cose diverse. In buona sostanza, questa canzone è un mistero tutto da scoprire».
«Abbiamo scritto questo pezzo nel 2019 e l'abbiamo suonato dal vivo solo una volta, a una festa. Da allora ci abbiamo lavorato a intermittenza, consapevoli della sua potenza, ma incerti sul suo destino. Una prima jam abbozzata del brano è stata registrata nel 2021 e inclusa nelle bonus track del nostro primo EP “Mixed Waste”. Infine abbiamo registrato questa nuova versione del brano per “Small Talk” e pensiamo e speriamo di essere riusciti a dipingere la sensazione agrodolce di un amore misto a rabbia, che è il sentimento che ne ha ispirato la composizione fin dall'inizio» - Leatherette
