Biografia MCFLY
McFly (Francesca Laneri) the Tramp was born in Catania, Sicily and since her teen years, she has grown to be a well-desired singer, multi-instrumentalist performer, and composer. With both self-Written and collaborative projects, she has collected a loyal base of followers. In the beginning of this Millennium the bags were packed with Destination London. The feedback from McFly’s early shows in Bars and Pubs around Catania led to her desire to try another city. After several successful years in London both making connections and working on her musical skills plus compositions, she was ready for new adventures. The talented artist headed back to Italy and started preparing for her next step in her career. She then also opened for Marky Ramone and Motel Connection during very successful shows. In the mean time she spent periods in Amsterdam performing and recording new songs. As a special invitation, 2013 McFly the Tramp performed with a Netherlands based band at the classic Venue, Winston Kingdom, located in Amsterdam Central. Directly after she went back and started working with an Italian company called Oblique Fields. Only to return to Amsterdam early 2014 to keep working on her musical career and prepare for her upcoming release. Casper the Drummer has joined the project for the first show in June. During the upcoming summer there are already shows booked for her and more news to come in the future. Her music is a mix of pop, jazz, indie and Rock, performed with a very modern sound. So keep your eyes out for McFly at a venue near you this year.
