Wings Of Time

“Wings Of Time” is the first Moongressive’s record, a young italian Progressive Rock band based in Vicenza.
The record is a concept album that tells the story of a man, who’s living a strong personal drama. He’s a writer and ex-alcoholic whose pregnant wife passed away during the 9/11 terroristic attacks; due to this fact, he begins suffering a breakdown, consisting in depression, frustration and mental instability and finds relief in alcohol. One day he suddenly wakes up, takes a look in the mirror and convinces himself it’s time to get up and fight against his demons and ghosts: this is the beginning of the journey and “Wings Of Time” represents it, showing the process that goes from sadness to happiness, from a hopeless and helpless state to the joy of life.
Musically focused on the typical Progressive tradition, the record covers a wide spectrum of genres, from Rock to Pop.
