One Voice Under the Stars apre l’album, e comincia con una libera ripresa di alcune parole di Ralph Waldo Emerson, citazione-punto di partenza del racconto di Asimov.
Mentre Asimov risponde alla domanda di Emerson con una condanna alla follia generalizzata, Gli Opsis ne approfittano per porsi alcune domande relative alle opinioni, ai desideri e alle paure della maggioranza degli abitanti di Lagash. In quasi 14 minuti di brano si dà voce a una riflessione collettiva che porterà infine alla Rivoluzione. Sotto un sole ormai prossimo al tramonto, tutti diventeranno uno al fine di sradicare la paura, affrontare insieme l’oscurità e ottenere risposte, liberandosi dalla stretta del potere.
