I Red Atomic Elephants nascono nel 2013 quando tre componenti dell’attuale formazione decisero di dare un senso a notturne e prolungate jam session.
A maggio 2014 pubblicano il loro primo omonimo EP di quattro tracce di un funky abbastanza minimale, diretto, ruvido e spensierato che gli permette di collezionare più di 30 date in meno di otto mesi.
Concerto dopo concerto il sound matura, il groove cresce e a gennaio 2015 la band entra all’igloo Audio Factory di Correggio (RE) per registrare il loro secondo EP dal titolo Cosmic travel. Sei tracce piene di energia.
Inizia a tutti gli effetti il viaggio cosmico della band che colleziona date sparse per l’Italia.
Le idee sono ancora parecchie e i ragazzi si rimettono al lavoro a metà del 2016 per dare vita al loro primo vero e proprio album e a dicembre 2016 si richiudono nella loro casa di campagna per completare la loro ultima fatica. L' uscita è prevista in primavera 2017.
Il sound spazia dalla black music anni ’60-’70 al rock psicadelico fino a spingersi alla musica elettronica più contemporanea.

Red Atomic Elephants were born in 2013 when three mates of the actual group have decided to finally give a reason to all of their long “jam session nights”.
In May 2014 they get out with their first 4 tracks EP, is an outright minimal funky, rough and carefree sound which will help them to get confidence onto a stage, scheduling more then 30 public performances within 8 months.
Concert by concert the sound grows up, the groove increases and in January 2015 the band gets into the “Igloo Audio Factory” in Correggio (RE) where their second EP called “Cosmic Travel” get recorded. Six Tracks full of energy.
It can finally starts the “Band Cosmic Travel” that brings Red Atomic Elephants to schedule several concerts all around Italy. The ideas are flowing far too fast and in mid-2016 the band starts working into their new project, their first authentic album. In December 2016 they hide themselves into their country house passing through long and tough working months.
The sound jumps from the 60's 70's Black Music to the Psychedelic rock and again into the contemporary electronic music.
