Tales From the Rabbit Hole

L’essenza del racconto è racchiusa nel titolo stesso del primo album: Tales from the Rabbit Hole è una raccolta di storie, otto sogni diversi che accompagnano il sonno fino alla luce del mattino. Ogni sogno ha un elemento cardine, da cui scaturiscono personaggi e vicende.
La tempesta, il magma, il tuono, il fumo, il ciclone, il vuoto, il veleno, il sangue diventano antropomorfi, e ciascuno rappresenta a turno una debolezza dell’essere umano, che deve soccombere alla potenza di qualcosa di superiore e fuori controllo.
La tana del coniglio invita alla caduta libera in questa dimensione alternativa, fatta di immagini e suoni, parole e rumori, tanto immaginari quanto tangibili.

Storytelling at its finest is embedded in the very title of Sharasad’s first album: Tales from the Rabbit Hole is a collection of stories, eight different dreams that accompany the lull of a night’s sleep till the morning light. Every dream stems from a different element, from which characters and vicissitudes originate.
Storm, Magma, Thunder, Smoke, Cyclone, Void, Poison, and Blood are anthropomorphized, each one representing the sublime decadence of humankind, that surrender to an uncontrolled higher power.
The rabbit hole is the willing free fall into this alternate dimension, made of images and sounds, words and noises, so fictious as they are tangible.
