Shoot Shoot
Work, eat, sleep, repeat.
All work and no play, I’m a dull boy, I’m a dull boy.
Shoot Shoot is an everyday tragedy, versifying the conception of the modern horror of routine, homologation and dismay, letting out, in a liberating burst, all the built-up anger. The song's verse is held up by a crushing, gloomy and repetitive rhythm section which is accompanied by a guitar as distorted and sharp as a knife that grates on your brain.
The song moves between the more noise-like sounds close to the explosive emotionality of Unwound. What emerges is a cathartic, alienating, annihilating energetic and angry experience
