Chi sono i Bakunin?
Sono 5 ragazzi che stanchi di suonare le solite cover hard rock anni '70, decidono di immergersi a capofitto in un nuovo progetto, consapevoli di aver qualcosa da raccontare, l’idea nata da due, Gabriele Maio(drums) e Enrico Stefani (basso), nel giro di qualche settimana ci si trova a provare in quattro con l'introduzione dell’amico chitarrista Mattia Grazia e del cantante Marco Cugola, con il passare dei mesi e di qualche concerto si decide tutti in sintonia di coinvolgere Federico Pedrazzoli, ex chitarrista del gruppo “Svetlanas” e il gioco è fatto. La zona di provenienza è situata nel confine tra il basso Veneto e la bassa Lombardia precisomente tra Bergantino e Ostiglia.Il suono della Band si basa su armonie semplici ma allo stesso tempo ricercate in un connubio anomalo tra accordi lenti e quasi scontati con accelerazioni fulminee che creano una dinamicità difficilmente riscontrabile in gruppi della scena attuale. La band non ha un genere preciso ma per lo più è l’unione tra “Garage”, “punk” vecchio stile e l’indie moderno, i gruppi ai quali si ispira la band sono i più svariati e passano dai “the who” ai “rancid” passando per i “sonics” ed “iggy pop” senza dimenticarsi di artisti della scena attuale come “the Hives” ed Artick Monkeys“.
Come tappe fondamentali nel percorso artistico della band vi sono da segnalare la partecipazione ad un contest musicale nel 2010 che grazie alla vittoria ha permesso di incidere il primo ep autoprodotto della band presso “igloo audio factory”(ad opera di Enrico Baraldi, disponibile ai concerti della band ma non ancora uscito ufficialmente in canali di distribuzione maggiore), il gruppo millanta nel proprio curriculum vari concerti in locali quali “UNGAWA TIKI BAR” e partecipazione ad eventi di interesse maggiore nel quale ha condiviso il palco con band già inserite nella scena italiana e "non" come “DI MAGGIO CONNECTIONS”, “GO!!ZILLA ,”LOS EXPLOSIVOS”, da segnalare inoltre nel 2012 la partecipazione al concorso MAD per gruppi emergenti nel contesto della fiera della musica di Azzano Decimo nella quale la band si è classificata seconda. Il gruppo ha inoltre realizzato un ep in collaborazione con StringaRecords e registrato presso il DirtySoundStudio ad opera di Federico Grella, uscito il 6 marzo 2013 in versione vinile 7” e disponibile sul web in formato digitale stringarecords.bandcamp.com (scelta dettata dal forte legame con la musica del passato e dall'inconfondibile suono caldo del vinile e dall'irresistibile fruscio della puntina unito ad un occhio di riguardo verso le nuove tecnologie che hanno ormai eliminato il supporto cd-rom).

5 guys who are tired of playing the same old cover hard rock 70s, decided to dive headfirst into a new project, knowing that they had something to tell, the idea was born of two, Gabriele Maio (drums) and Enrico Stefani (low ), within a few weeks there is to try in four with the introduction of the friend of the singer and guitarist Matt Grace Marco Cugola, with the passing of months and a few concerts you decide to involve everyone in tune Federico Pedrazzoli, former guitarist of the group "Svetlanas" and you're done.
