Biografia the Storylines
(ENG) “the Storylines” was born 4 years ago (2006), in some small, dusty, unused rooms located in the 17-inhabitants town called Piancavallo, among the mountains looking at the city of Pordenone, in the north- east of Italy. The continuous presence of electronic sounds and artificial sound- scapes, is lead every now and then by a folk spirit born in Paris, in a small room with a creaking floor. One day not so long ago, the Megaphone robot, just landed on the slopes of the mountains where everything had begun, invited the four musi- cians into his spaceship for a tea and listened to those sounds, tasty leaves that he saved jelously and took to his planet to let his friends know what he had learnt from the human beings. June Leaves. (ITA) “the Storylines” è un progetto musicale dai contorni sfumati nato in stanze ricavate da locali in disuso di Piancavallo, tra le montagne che osservano Pordenone. La continua presenza dell’elettronica e di sonorità artificiali, viene guidata di tanto in tanto da uno spirito folk, nato in terra straniera in una stanza dal pavimento scricchiolante. Un giorno non molto lontano, dalle pendici delle montagne dove tutto era nato, l’appena atterrato robottone Megaphone decise di invitare i quattro nel proprio disco volante, per bere del té e fargli ascoltare quelle melodie, quelle foglie cresciute e divenute croccanti col passare degli anni, che raccolse per riportare nel suo pianeta un ricordo di ciò che aveva appreso degli esseri umani.
