Paul Venturi and Simone Scifoni are a great union, who have gained popularity in Italy thanks to their natural and singular way of interpreting the old blues.
Simone Scifoni is multi-tasking on four instruments: a piano, drums, a three string guitar and a small keyboard instead of the bass guitar. Paul Venturi plays both the acoustic and the electric guitar. His way of singing refers to some of the greatest old blues masters like Tommy Johnson, Son House and Fred McDowell. Venturi and Scifoni are an example of what this music is about: two guys, who get together and decide to share their experiences and passion through a common language. An authentic and sincere sound is a result of those moments.
