Liar è il brano che più di tutti esprime il concetto di contraddizione. Parla del fatto di fare i conti con un grande difetto, quello di mentire a se stessi e di conseguenza non riuscire ad aprirsi pienamente con l’altro, chiunque esso sia. Entrare in un limbo che come unica via d’uscita ha quella di parlare apertamente, di esporsi. Non esprimersi con l’altro è lo specchio della non accettazione dei propri pensieri, processo invece essenziale in un qualsiasi percorso di crescita. Ma per arrivarci – almeno nel mio caso – è stato necessario affrontare un momento in cui mi sono resa conto di dover fare questo passo per potermi staccare da alcuni meccanismi auto-limitanti del passato.
