Director Jack Daly describe the idea behind the video like this:
"It’s hard to say where a lot of ideas come from, this one definitely came from listening to the track. I loved the calm feel throughout the main section, and when the trumpet came in at the end it had a surreal feel about it. I definitely thought the video needed to have a surreal ending, so making our main character a lonely, lost sole at the start seemed a great way to counter that. The lake scene at the end didn’t come from anywhere specific, I wanted the man to be lost in this moment that we’re unsure is his fantasy or reality. The three girls mainly play part to his feeling lonely for most of the video, yet the fantasy giving him more attention than he could want. "
Dreamy soundscapes, urban beats, and nordic coolness is what you get when you throw Positano, Milan, and Gothenburg into a mix. Throw in Claudio Pallone, Alfonso Fusco, and Aldo Axha and you get Emmecosta; a Gothenburg based Post-club trio. Emmecosta is the new soul act of electro writing. In their own words, they describe their music as alternative dream pop that "celebrates intimite landscapes through a melancholic stream that merges with dreamy vocal narratives."
