Conosco un pittore pazzo, dipinge cose senza un apparente senso
e poi ti chiede "Signora, lei cosa ci vede?"
e la signora ovviamente non ci vede niente
però che importa? Può esser bello uguale se fa vibrare un po' la sfera emozionale
spegnersi un poco, lasciarsi vagare, forse stanotte avrò qualcosa da sognare.
Ma li sentite voi di notte cantare gli uccelli?
C'è una ragazza che balla una tarantella, è indemoniata forse sì ma quanto è bella!
Nuda o vestita di giallo, tamburellando, mi invitò nella sua tenda per un rito neanche strambo
una folta calamita mi disinfettava l'anima insozzandomi il corpo di stelle,
però all'alba ero già sotto il mio soffitto cielo blu cavalcando i sogni delle pecorelle.
Ma li sentite voi di notte cantare gli uccelli?
Attorno al fuoco si ode solo il ronzio del tempo che si ferma e scorre ad intermittenza,
come fa pure il mio credere o meno in un dio,
però in momenti come questi potrei anche stare senza.
Fuori da ogni genere musicale, al di là di ogni segno zodiacale
c'è qualcosa di indicibile da assaporare, c'è la vita quella vera da inscenare!
Ma li sentite voi di notte cantare gli uccelli?
E pure a chi non ha capito e forse mai capirà, chissenefrega gli faremo ascoltare
il rumore degli uccelli in digitale in modo da rendere il tutto un poco più normale,
danzeremo strani ritmi sia d'inverno che d'estate,
canteremo le canzoni dei briganti e delle fate, qualche donna si commuoverà, si spera,
e tornerà di nuovo un'altra primavera.
