I wish is Grimoon’s second video from the new album Clair obscur released on April 14th by La Tempesta International - STREAM: https://bfan.link/clair-obscur.
"I wish I could fly" is probably the thought that thousands of migrants have with their eyes fixed on the sky above the sea they have to cross.
The video is therefore inspired by flight. In this case, flight is that of a giant, colorful bird that gathers the children. This Saving Bird meets three children: a newborn handed from his mother's hands at Kabul airport, a girl without water on a boat in the Mediterranean Sea, and a drowned boy saved at sea.
In reality, only two of these three children survived because the girl without water unfortunately was named Loujin Ahmed Nasif and died of thirst at the age of 4 on September 10th 2022, on a desperate boat in the Mediterranean.
This short film is part of the film "Il viaggio di Alan," a medium-length film that tells the journey of a child and his father aboard a boat-shell. In their adventure, they encounter different stories, and they happen to see a flock of birds that we liked to imagine just as it is described in this short film. "Il viaggio di Alan" is a film composed of 8 chapters that correspond to the tracks of Grimoon's new album.
